Meet Miss. Mackenzie!
Mackenzie Fey is a ballet teacher and dancer in New York City. After beginning her teaching career at Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre School and The Dallas Conservatory, she is currently teaching at her alma mater, Ballet Academy East.
After training locally in her hometown of State College, PA, Mackenzie moved to NYC at age sixteen to study with American Ballet Theatre and BAE, two of the nation’s most prestigious ballet programs. In 2019, Mackenzie began performing with NYC troupe Ballet’s with a Twist. She has previously performed with the Colorado Ballet, Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre, and Avant Chamber Ballet. In 2022, Mackenzie founded Ballet Academy East’s Adaptive Dance Program, designed for dancers with autism spectrum disorders, Down syndrome, and other sensory sensitivities. With a passion for teaching young children, Mackenzie brings the best of her ballet training, love for yoga, and creativity to create magical and engaging classes.
